The Tigers of LSU defeated Alabama handily on Saturday with a score of 46-41. The Crimson Tide were not themselves and committed way too many careless errors.
The Tiger offense led by one of the top quarterbacks in the nation, Joe Burrow, went down to Tuscaloosa and managed to produce 46 points!! That is extremely tough to do when you’re on the road in Bryant-Denny against a very stout defense. Everybody always talks about the passing game with Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson. But LSU’s running game is very underrated with Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He had an amazing 7-yard run with 1:37 left in regulation to put LSU up by 12.
After this game, I think that Joe Burrow is the front runner for the Heisman. Burrow went 31/39 passing, 393 yards and had 3 TDs against Bama.
